На Танганьике рассвет наступает в 5.40 и в 6.00 солнце уже видно, закат в 17.40 и в 18 часов уже темно, те световой день равен 12 часам и так круглый год. Однако, следует заметить, что в период дождей освещение бывает весьма скудным, так как плотные облака висят неделями. Биологические ритмы у рыб (как и у всех нас, грешных) существуют, хотя и с известной долей адаптации. Тому пример сомики Synodontis, которые проявляют особую активность в ночное время. Однако их, иногда, можно видеть и днем. (особенно в сетях рыбаков, которые этому не очень рады, из за их жестких и колючих грудных плавников). Cyphonilapia frontosa, активная в сумерках, в наших аквариумах легко адаптируется к дневной жизни (хотя повадки съесть ночью более мелкую рыбу сохраняются). Таких примеров много.

Хочу добавить, что на Танганьике есть места с растительностью. Я хоел бы добавить, что в Танганьике бывает подобная температура (на разных глубинах,- разная температура, а в прибойной зоне +29 довольно часто.) Сейчас наблюдается повсеместное повышение температуры в Озере. Lead scientist on the project Jessica Tierney told Reuters the sharp rise in temperature coincided with rises in human emissions of greenhouse gases seen in the past century, so the study added to evidence that emissions are warming the planet. The \'Great Lakes\' such as Tanganyika, Malawi and Kenya\'s lake Turkana were formed millions of years ago by the tectonic plate movements that tore Africa\'s Great Rift Valley. Some 10 million people live around Tanganyika and depend upon it for drinking water and food, mostly fish. Geologists at Rhode Island\'s Brown University used carbon dating to measure the age of sediments on the lake floor. They then tested fossilized micro-organisms whose membranes differ at various temperatures to gauge how hot it was at times past. The results were published in Nature Geoscience on Sunday. \"Lake Tanganyika has experienced unprecedented warming in the last century,\" a press release accompanying the paper said. \"The warming likely is affecting valuable fish stocks upon which millions of people depend.\" \"INTENSE WARMING\" Most climate change studies have focused on the atmosphere, but increasingly scientists are studying the effects on the oceans, seas and lakes, which all absorb a huge amount of heat. The paper argues that recent rises in temperature are correlated with a loss of biological productivity in the lake, suggesting higher temperatures may be killing life. \"Lake Tanganyika has become warmer, increasingly stratified and less productive over the past 90 years,\" the paper says. \"Unprecedented temperatures and a ... decrease in productivity can be attributed to (human) ... global warming.\" The rise in temperature over the past 90 years was about 0.9 degrees Celsius and was accompanied by a drop in algae volumes. \"We\'re showing that the trend of warming that we\'ve seen is also affecting these remote places in the tropics in a very severe way,\" Tierney said by telephone from the United States. \"We\'ve seen intense warming in recent times ... not down to natural variations in climate.\" She said the lake life had been harmed because in a lake as deep as Tanganyika, the nutrients form at the bottom but the algae needed to make use of them live at the top. На самом деле в Бужумбуре сейчас +31. В сезон дождей (с ноября по апрель) +33, может быть чуть жарче, но жара переносится легче,так как дует ветер с озера. [Изменено 4-8-10 ... Petr]

Сообщаю, что, к великому сожалению, в Танзании, вскоре начнутся разработка и добыча нефти. (к северу и к югу от Ujiji). He said Beach Petroleum Company of Australia has been licensed to conduct oil exploration on the southern shores of Lake Tanganyika from Ujiji to Kashangulu village in Rukwa Region. Another company is Tullow Oil from Ireland which has already been licensed to start exploration in the North Western region of Tanzania, said Mr Kabwe. It will undertake exploration on the northern zone of the lake from Ujiji to Kagunda village on the border of Tanzania and Burundi. From India, Motherland Oil Company, has been licensed to explore for oil in the Malagarasi basin, he said, nting that so far there are high prospects of finding oil along the shores of Lake Tanganyika. Meanwhile, the Kigoma Development Institute (KDI) programme officer, Mr Alex Kitumo, warned Kigoma residents to be alert and protect their resources once these companies start exploration activities. Conducting a sensitisation programme for Kigoma residents on oil and mineral exploration, he said the public has to remain united in protecting national resources which are important for the economic development of any nation. “If protected and properly used, their proceeds will be used in the construction of roads, provision of social services, education and so on,” he said. He said there were very high prospects of finding oil along the shores of Lake Tanganyika and foreign companies have already acquired licenses for exploration. Mr Kitumo said it is important for the residents to know about this new development early enough before the companies arrive. “Soon you will see these companies in your areas engaged in the exploration and perhaps production of oil. It is important that you are aware of this to avoid problems that have been occurring in other countries with oil,” he said. Я думаю, что слишком большое нагромождение валунов не практично. Будет смотреться хорошо, не спорю, но не практично. 1 Уменьшение объема воды в акве 2 Проблемы с отловом нужной рыбы 3 Накапливание грязи в щелях 4 Излишняя нагрузка на стекло 5 Доминирующий самец может объявить все камни своей территорией и выгнать оттуда всех остальных рыб и тд и тп Конечно, есть желание быть ближе к биотопу Танганьики, но там свои условия и воспроизвести их полностью не удастся, да это и не нужно.
